What to check before measurement
- Record received revision, issue date and affected sheets.
- Compare changed openings, hardware and glass designations.
- Issue a quantity delta and superseded-output register.
A practical bid example
A revised glass designation may change supplier pricing without changing area. Track specification deltas separately from quantity deltas.
What the reviewer should receive
An addendum log with added, removed, changed and unchanged items and a new cut-off revision.
Keep revisions and responsibility visible
Record the source sheet, detail or specification and revision beside the affected item. When information conflicts, leave the affected quantity or price pending and attach a question for the authorised project contact. A blank or unresolved entry must never be silently converted into zero.
Before issuing a revised package, identify changed, removed and added items. Separate measurement corrections from new scope and keep the previous output marked as superseded. The contractor retains final tender review and approval.
