What to check before measurement
- Ask for glass, metal and hardware outputs with source references.
- Review how missing information and addenda are handled.
- Confirm team capability, file handling, fees and review responsibilities.
A practical bid example
A polished area summary is insufficient if a reviewer cannot trace an opening back to its drawing or see which glass deductions remain unresolved.
What the reviewer should receive
A supplier evaluation checklist based on deliverables and a clearly scoped trial project.
Keep revisions and responsibility visible
Record the source sheet, detail or specification and revision beside the affected item. When information conflicts, leave the affected quantity or price pending and attach a question for the authorised project contact. A blank or unresolved entry must never be silently converted into zero.
Before issuing a revised package, identify changed, removed and added items. Separate measurement corrections from new scope and keep the previous output marked as superseded. The contractor retains final tender review and approval.
