What to check before measurement
- Include specifications, schedules, relevant details and all addenda.
- Share an authorised plan-room link or a supported file package.
- State units, output format, pricing inputs and required delivery date.
A practical bid example
A plan-room invitation that requires access approval cannot be reviewed until access is granted. Include the access contact and identify the tender cut-off.
What the reviewer should receive
A quote request with document access, scope, deliverable choice and a realistic deadline for review.
Keep revisions and responsibility visible
Record the source sheet, detail or specification and revision beside the affected item. When information conflicts, leave the affected quantity or price pending and attach a question for the authorised project contact. A blank or unresolved entry must never be silently converted into zero.
Before issuing a revised package, identify changed, removed and added items. Separate measurement corrections from new scope and keep the previous output marked as superseded. The contractor retains final tender review and approval.
