What to check before measurement
- Prepare a revision and addendum register.
- Include structural sheets where embeds or support steel affect scope.
- List missing details and identify who can answer them.
A practical bid example
A facade elevation can show a spandrel panel that is absent from the glass schedule. Record the conflict instead of borrowing a neighbouring glass designation.
What the reviewer should receive
A drawing index, missing-information log and agreed cut-off revision.
Keep revisions and responsibility visible
Record the source sheet, detail or specification and revision beside the affected item. When information conflicts, leave the affected quantity or price pending and attach a question for the authorised project contact. A blank or unresolved entry must never be silently converted into zero.
Before issuing a revised package, identify changed, removed and added items. Separate measurement corrections from new scope and keep the previous output marked as superseded. The contractor retains final tender review and approval.
