What to check before measurement
- Confirm system designation from details and specifications.
- Compare support, drainage and perimeter interfaces.
- Price access and installation from the project conditions.
A practical bid example
Do not apply a universal storefront-to-curtain-wall cost multiplier. Height, module size, glazing make-up and handling strategy can change the comparison.
What the reviewer should receive
Separate system schedules and a list of pricing inputs needed for each option.
Keep revisions and responsibility visible
Record the source sheet, detail or specification and revision beside the affected item. When information conflicts, leave the affected quantity or price pending and attach a question for the authorised project contact. A blank or unresolved entry must never be silently converted into zero.
Before issuing a revised package, identify changed, removed and added items. Separate measurement corrections from new scope and keep the previous output marked as superseded. The contractor retains final tender review and approval.
